American Idol- Motown Week, No Big Surprises Here

American Idol

I don’t know what anyone was really all that surprised by the results of this week’s American Idol.

Michal Sarver went home last night, despite the fact that the judges really looked as if they might be considering using their save.  Michael had a great story, and seemed really likable, but he never really showed much diversity as a singer.  I think he was lucky to have made it into the Top 10 and probably should have gone home last week instead of Alexis Grace.

So now we are down to 9.  I think we are going to see Kris Allen, Megan Joy Corkery, and Scott MacIntyre be the next three to go, unless someone really screws up.  I really like all three of them and I would rather any of them win besides Lil Rounds or Adam Lambert.  That being said, I think I must be in the minority, because those three keep ending up in the bottom.

I still think this is Danny Gokey’s contest to lose, but he is going to have to step up his game and show America something a little different or else he might make an early exit.

We are still running our Head Case Season 1 contest.  All you have to do is comment on the site or on Twitter.  Here are the official rules.

i’m hoping the other judges (all the ones besides Simon) would think up some new generic observations before the next show
