American Idol…and then there were 11, and the Judge's Save

American Idol

I don’t know about you but I didn’t think there were any big surprises on last night’s elimination round of American Idol.  Just as promised 2 contestants were sent to pack their bags, Jasmine Murray and Jorge Nunez.  Both of them had promise, but neither delivered on Tuesday night.   I think Anoop was really sweating it and may have dodged a bullet.

Last night we learned of a new rule that will be put into place, the Judge’s Save.  If all 4 judges agree that a contestant shouldn’t be sent home they may save that contestant from elimination for that week so that they may live to sing again.  That means the following week 2 contestants will be sent to make up for it.  It can only be used once and once it is used then the save is gone.  Needless to say, it wasn’t used last night. Too bad this wasn’t around when Tatiana Del Toro was there.

We also got performances by Kanye West and Kelly Clarkson.  I don’t know if performing on AI is the best way to keep your street cred Kanye.

I’m sensing a slight obsession with Miss Tatiana Del Toro. Could I be right?

How would you feel about blogging about some other Thursday night shows? Like, Grey’s Anatomy or Ugly Betty? By the way, I love your blog!!
