I know I said that I was done posting about American Idol, but there is so much news out there I figured I’d go ahead and make one more post since there were so many interesting stories out there.

I have to say, I think you have it backwards.
Maybe in the here & now, but in the long run I think it would be way worse for Queen to have Adam Lambert as a front man.

Adam did not say his sexuality cost him the win (watch the first Larry King interview).

Adam’s a cool cat but Queen is not the place to start if you want to have a successful solo career. A few special tour dates wouldn’t hurt anyone (get off your pretend cool high horses) but that’s all. Adam’s a collaborator and May said he would like to WORK with him in future – maybe Adam will provide guest vocals for their next album and/or May will lay down a few guitar riffs for his album.

KISS invited Adam to join them on tour anytime but Gene also said Adam’s more of a pop artist than a rock artist which makes absolute sense seeing as Adam himself said despite predominantly listening to and singing rock, he essentially wants to have a ‘pop’ career. Adam’s fronted a metal band, an alt rock band & a glamrock band as well as covering almost every genre that exists solo. I can see him making darker Depeche Mode-esque music. I hope he continues to change his sound and image. He has potential to be a male Madonna, IMHO.

Err, wow. I think you took my comment the wrong way. None of it was targetted at you but at the articles and intended for all readers.

Adam Lambert is a very talented guy. I think that he will be recognized as such. I found it a hard decision myself to choose the winner and it could of gone either way. Though, I wished Adam would have gone all the way with Idol.

Though, I don't think his career will suffer because of it. I think he is getting his music across to the public which is what any entertainer wants.

It was nice to see Simon giving a standing ovation on the Mad World performance. He is a hard critic and at least he recognizes Adam's talent.

I will admit that American Idol is getting a little old but I still like it because it is an “easy” watch for me.

It’s cute that you think you know better than E! Online. All I did was post the link. I’m sorry you think otherwise.
