So You Think You Can Dance

Unfortunately, the Guest judge this week is Lil C. I hope he doesn’t talk too much, but with a two hour show that isn’t likely.

The guys preform a routine by Sonya to start the show. Really cool routine. Ade is by far my favorite guy.

Lil C – loved it

Mary – I just LOVED IT.

Nigel – really liked it

The first couple to preform was Jeanine & Ade. They danced a samba with Louis Van Amstel. I just am not a fan of ballroom. It was sorta boring to me. It couldn’t keep my attention.

Mary – 1st fifteen seconds were great, then it fell apart.

Lil C – blah blah blah

Nigel – Liked Jeanine, Ade not so much.

The first solo of the night was danced by Kayla. Much better than last week. She is incredible.

The second couple of the evening was Melissa & Evan. They had a broadway number with Tyce Diorio. It was titled “Get Me to the Chuch on Time”. Fun routine, but I wasn’t wowed.

Lil C – A for me but lets go for A+

Mary – Really fun & entertaining for me

Nigel – liked it

Ade was next to dance his solo. He is really great. I hope he makes it to the finals.

The last couple was Kayla & Brandon. They drew contemporary by Stacey Tookey. The story was about a mistress of married man and what happens when she doesn’t have the strength to leave him. AWESOME. So far the best number of the night.

Lil C – intense and beyond amazing

Mary – Dancing was brilliant. I loved it.

Nigel – loved it

Next Melissa danced her solo. Okay, it was a little slow.

Jeanine & Ade danced their next routine which was a Nap & Tabs hip hop routine. It was about friends getting evicted from their apartment. It was pretty good. Not my favorite hip hop this year.

Lil C- blah blah blah  - It was buck.

Mary – blah blah – liked it

Nigel – You got down. Absolutely fantastic.

Brandon danced his solo in a speedo. I think that Brandon thinks he is awesome. I don’t like him. The judges gave him a standing ovation.

Melissa & Evan’s second routine was a quick step by Louis Van Amstel. Melissa is way taller than Evan . It was just ehh.

Lil C – blah blah

Mary – disappointed

Nigel – not one of the best routines of the night

Jeanine’s solo was a little boring. There wasn’t a lot of dancing to it.

Then final solo of the evening was Evan. His solos are fun & entertaining, but pretty much the same from week to week.

Kayla & Brandon danced a disco routine by  Doriana Sanchez. Good routine, but didn’t flow as smoothly as I think it should have. There seemed to be a lot of prep for tricks.

Lil C – I have no clue what he said

Mary – loved it

Nigel – screaming like Mary

Last nights show was okay. I can’t believe that next week is the finale. I think that Evan and Melissa will go home.

The girls danced a routine by Sonya. The piece is about super heros. Awesome!

Lil C –  Seriously! This guy must study the thesaurus. Who knows what he said.

Mary – Good job

Nigel – fantastic

All the girls are so strong that I hated to see any of them go. Jeanine is still my favorite, but I actually think Kayla is probably the better dancer. She just seems a little “cold” to me. I had a feeling that Melissa was going to go. I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised that Evan made it into the finals. Wouldn’t it be fun if he beat out Brandon?
