The Unfiltered Ramblings of a DVR Addict

I’m not sure if anyone else noticed, but Ryan Seacrest showed his cultural sensitivity last night on American Idol during the guys’ show when he gave a sterotypical Asian bow to the only Asian guy in the competition, John Park.  Right after the judges were finished with their critique, Ryan had some trivial comments, then placed his hands together at his chest and bowed slightly.

Granted, this isn’t quite as big of a faux-pas as trying to give high five to a blind guy, like he did to Scott Macintyre last season.  Oh well, I guess if you’ve got to do five hours of live TV every week, you’re bound to look bad occasionally.
